About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced content moderation systems. You’ll work on cutting-edge AI solutions, applying prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to ensure scalable, high-performance moderation in production. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of delivering impactful AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize automated content moderation pipelines for accuracy and efficiency.
- Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG techniques to enhance model performance and manage costs.
- Deploy and monitor models in production, continuously improving based on performance data.
- Collaborate with policy, trust & safety, and engineering teams to meet customer and regulatory needs.
- Stay current with AI advancements, ensuring best practices in AI safety and moderation.
- Drive the long-term R&D vision for content moderation solutions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, taking ownership of customer outcomes and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field (Ph.D. a plus).
- 5+ years of industry experience in NLP, computer vision, and LLMs.
- 2+ years of experience deploying LLMs in complex, real-world production environments.
- Strong Python skills; experience with AWS and CI/CD tools preferred.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG methods, and LLM optimization.
- Proficient in automating and monitoring LLM workflows.
- Solid understanding of classification metrics and handling imbalanced datasets.
- Skilled in debugging and resolving production issues, especially on AWS.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to guide non-technical teams in leveraging AI solutions.
