Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced algorithms for image analysis, pattern recognition, and data classification in medical diagnostics.
- Apply deep expertise in microscopy, immunofluorescence, IHC, and cell image analysis to build innovative solutions.
- Leverage data visualization, mining, and interpretation techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, CLIA, and other diagnostic compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable software using Python, with strong adherence to object-oriented design principles and software architecture best practices.
- Drive the integration, testing, and deployment of software in production environments.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and progress reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, regulatory, engineering, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency and ownership to meet project deadlines and deliver impactful results.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning; PhD strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of industry experience (or 3+ years with PhD) in image analysis, machine learning, or pattern recognition.
- Practical experience with medical imaging techniques such as immunofluorescence, IHC, microscopy, and cell analysis.
- Solid understanding of regulatory environments (FDA, CLIA, or equivalent).
- Proficient in Python for algorithm development and software engineering.
- Strong foundation in software design principles, OOP, design patterns, and scalable system architecture.
- Experience with integration and testing in production-grade software environments.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
